I love my dust covers! They seem to have blocked all visible dust from reaching my equipment. The printer dust cover is a little awkward to use at first, (the dust cover opening is on the top and my printer controls and paper feeds are on the front), but easy enough to operate once you get used to them. These are the best equipment covers I have ever used and will be ordering more for my computer towers in the near future.

Good Afternoon Erik,
We have two concrete plants that have
some what of a dust problem which has
been a problem with our computers as
you know. Taking the computers down
cleaning them and also losing a few
that were not cleaned in time has been
a costly problem for us which seems
to be in the past at this point since
receiving these dust covers.
Our IS manager bought
5 covers and we installed them with
ease, that was three months ago and
we checked the inside of one of the
computers and it looks great, you have

I have ordered this particular item before for our one computer in the mechanics shop, and this is a replacement. You can imagine the dust that accumulates in an environment like this, but with your dust covers, I don't have to concern myself with "blowing out" all the dust periodically or even with the the problems that are generated by dirt build up. I’m using the
Shopshields filters and they are working
perfectly. The usability is complete
and without problems. My PC never heats
even when it’s working all day.
It can protect my computer and my monitor
from dust...
It can stop the dust, and I could verify
also that the filters can protect my
PC from small bugs like ants and cockroaches.
Other computers not protected by the
filters were affected by this small
ants and cockroaches but not this one.

Shop shield filter
is doing a good job of blocking dust
from my computer. I can see the brown
dust collecting around the fan intake
area. One problem that I have noticed
is that the filter needs to be elevated
away from the computer box or else the
collected dust tends to 'block' the
air intake area. It forms a circle in
my case. Otherwise from the look of
the filter I think it is doing the job.

If there were anything that need improving
it would be the keyboard cap. At first
I had it a little tight and it was too
easy for it to keep the corner buttons
pressed in. Now it is quite loose and
floppy but is works and wouldn't want

all our computers and it seems to make a huge
difference. We are hoping that it helps extend the life of our computers.

They do make a huge

a little gross considering all the dirt
they accumulate on the outside but that
just shows that it is working, after
all that is what the computer would
be sucking in if they weren't on there.

Erik,
I have several customers who use your
products, and I ALWAYS effort them where
warranted. I will tell you my methods
of installing, maintenance and replacement.
I install a new cover once per year
at most sites. Extremely dirty ones
get replaced every 6 months as recommended.
In the interim service calls (quarterly),
I remove the covers, blow them out with
compressed air (oil free compressor),
disassemble the PC, clean, and re-install
the cover. I find the covers filter
the dirt, but it deposits on the top
covers when I remove them. I do vacuum
the covers before I take them off to
remove any extra accumulated dust. My
only complaint (and it's not really
a complaint) is the front access covers
are really not large enough, and quite
frequently are pulled off by the clients.
I have found by stapling the adhesive
mounting, it will not come off. Most
computers have the DVD drives at the
top, and the on/off switches in the
center. So, the access cover doesn't
really allow both to be accessed with
the current design. But, they have cut
down client maintenance costs dramatically
due to overheating by dirt and dust.
My clients and I are happy with them.

Six months after installing the shopshield filters they are both still working out
beautifully. My mini towers are located on a carpet floor for lack of space so
that is a mecca for dirt and dust. The shop shield covers have been just great
at keeping the towers clean and dust free.
Surprisingly the shop shield covers themselves are not dirty or dusty.
They look as new as the day I got them. I have no idea where the dust is going
but it is not anywhere near or on the shop shield covers.
I am really happy with them.
